Rain Causes Flooding, Wrecks

Wrecks Cause by Heavy Rain: Although North Texas needed a good soaking rain, Monday morning commuters had a hard time with the downpour.

Several accidents were reported by 5:30 a.m., including a wreck involving two cars and two 18-wheelers on northbound I-35 at Oak Lawn Boulevard.

Ponding on the road caused one of those cars to hydroplane into the concrete divider and started the chain-reaction collision.

Drivers who are used to dry roads and higher speeds need to allow extra time to get to work or school. Make sure to take caution out on the roadways this morning and keep an eye out for standing water.

At the Law Offices of Sean Chalaki, our goal is to protect you and your loved ones before the accident and protect your rights after the accident. For more information Car accident laws, call our office at 972-793-8500 to schedule a free consultation and case evaluation.
